John (KC6UWM) and myself had the opportunity to help give a demo of Amateur Radio use, and let the students of the class talk to other local hams via a repeater. Local hams monitoring for the students were, N6VGW, NH2BV, KI6PSX, W6TOD and WI6RE.
We created a script to assist them through the "Mic Fright", and there was great participation. Many questions were asked, and it appeared that we caught there attention and interest.
